Does your chili have what it takes to reign supreme at the 3rd Annual Crooked Handle Chili Boss Competition?

Purchase a $20 ticket to enter your chili into the main event competition. Ticket includes 2 “Vote for People’s Choice” tickets. (one chili per $20 ticket)

Bring your main event entry before our panel of expert judges for a chance at the title and a 1st place cash prize of $250!

~ First place in the main event will receive $250 cash and their name engraved on the Crooked Handle Chili Boss plaque

~Second place in the main event will recieve a plaque and a $100 gift card

~Third place in the main event will receive a plaque and a $50 gift card

Fine chili should look good, smell good, and taste good! Accordingly, main event entries will be judged on the following criteria to arrive at a whole-number score for each category of 0 to 10 with 10 being the highest.

People’s Choice Award will be decided by ballot and the winner will receive a plaque and $150 in gift cards.

The main event judging will begin at 3pm. Popular vote ballots will close at 4:30pm. Award presentations will begin at 5pm. Your entry must be on the table no later than 2:30pm. Please provide a minimum 5 quarts of chili and a crock pot. Toppings WILL NOT be judged in the main event. If you have any questions please email brewery@crookedhandle.com
